Freshers week bridge building

This years fresher’s week started with a joined task where Architectural Technology students were given a task to create a bridge. The bridge had to span a distance of 1.5m whilst using only the given materials. The task was judged in category: The biggest load bearing bridge. Each group consisted of mix of students from freshers, foundation year and students for year 2 and year 3.

Results:

No Name = 3.0kg

Hang in There = 2.1kg

@_Jus_Joe = 2.1kg

Literally Hanging = 1.6kg

NN2 Nightmare = 0.5kg
