Students to design and build a full scale Pavilion
Architectural Technology year 1 students are to build a small pavilion which is to celebrate the planned move to the new university campus. Each student proposed a design solution and then had an opportunity to present it to the rest of the class. After series of votes and presentation pitches students chose the best design. The winning design is done by part time student Richard Meller.

In the next few weeks students are to critically evaluate the chosen design and propose changes. Students will produce full set of drawings and establish methods of building the pavilion. Students will also explore options to attract sponsors for the pavilion funding and will deal with risk assessment as well as the actual pavilion construction.
We expect the pavilion to go on site just outside Avenue Campus Maidwell building on 3rd of December and to be there until the end of the year.
