Taylor Wimpey Workshop
University of Northampton in cooperation with Taylor Wimpey ran a design workshop between 30/06/15 and 02/07/15. Architectural Technology and Interior Design students participated representing study years 1-3. Workshop was initiated by introduction lectures done by Taylor Wimpey representatives: Kevin Pearson, Christopher Leeson and Steven Clarke, as well as Bob Colenutt from Collaborative Centre for the Built Environment. Whist having the lecture topics in mind students where to, form small groups or work individually and, choose categories to work on within a specific site and whilst using typical Taylor Wimpey housing as the basis. The workshop concluded with 7 proposals offering various solutions to the outlined building site.
